We feature monthly  selection of wines available for tasting Tuesday through Sunday. This month we offer:

2010 Decoy Sauvignon Blanc
A great, refreshing wine for any time, featuring notes of grapefruit, kiwi, lime, lemon zest, and fresh-cut grass, before a full finish.

Stephen Ross 2008 Edna Valley Chardonnay
92 points from Wine Enthusiast. From Wine Spectator: "Fresh, intense and vibrant, offering a mix of spice, floral scents, honeydew melon and light vanilla-scented oak."

Sonnet 2008 Pinot Noir
A perennial shop favorite.

Waterstone 2007 Napa Cabernet
Rumored to be declassified juice from a California cult winery, but you'll have to judge for yourself!

Join us for some fantastic Pinot Noirs to kick off November!
(Or Movember, even.)

2010 Byron Pinot Noir, Santa Barbara County 16.50 a bottle
This is a forward, lush, approachable wine, dominated by dark berry, rose petal, plum, and smoke, without losing the floral and mineral notes typical of Santa Barbara.

2009 County Line Pinot Noir, Anderson Valley 25.00 a bottle
Eric Sussman of Radio-Coteau launched this label. We think it's a fabulous value.

2009 Alfaro Family Pinot Noir, Gary's Vineyard 30.00 a bottle
One 140 cases of this Santa Lucia Highlands pinot were produced. The wine has aromas of black cherry, blackberry, ripe plum, spice, toast, and smoke. A velvety texture and a rich mouthfeel is backed up by moderate tannins and good acidic balance.

2009 Radio-Coteau Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast 51.75 a bottle
"Deep garnet core with a slender violet rainbow around the edge. Juicy and inviting aromatics of homemade blackberry compote, crushed cranberry, and perfumed violets layer with flint, stone, and minerality."
